World Scripting is an RPG that is based on realism and role play. It is not supposed to be combat heavy and fights usually consume very little time compared to most systems. Even massive army fights can be resolved in a matter of an hour or two. If you have this vision of an epic bad guy who is very difficult to kill for most people, including small armies, but a band of four bad ass heroes can handle them, then World Scripting is not for you. In World Scripting the difference between heroes and normal people is more realistic than in most systems. In most systems, heroes become so strong that they could take entire cities or even empires down. In World Scripting while heroes may be able to accomplish some significant damage, without an army by their side or an extremely cunning plan, they will not succeed in a head-to-head battle with an army of people.
This is why I know that World Scripting is not for everyone. Trust me, I know a lot of role players enjoy having characters so strong that they can pin a dragon down with one hand, or threaten an empire with their powerful magic. However, there are plenty of systems like that out there already. What is really lacking is a system that truly balances power with numbers, one that makes you feel powerful and important yet not invulnerable. That is the point of World Scripting, and I do hope you will enjoy it as much as I have so far.
